Parent-Teacher Conference Dates:
As temperatures continue to fluctuate, freeze-thaw cycles may create slippery conditions in parking lots, sidewalks, and school entryways. Families, students, and visitors are asked to use extra caution when arriving at or leaving the school.
Please watch your footing outdoors and in entrance areas, as melting snow and moisture can create wet or icy surfaces.
Our Maintenance team is working diligently to keep campus walkways and entrances safe by clearing snow and applying salt and grit as needed. However, conditions can change quickly, and we appreciate everyone's care and attention during the winter months.
Thank you for helping keep our school community safe.
Lord our God,
Today we remember times of war, times when men and women served our nation, and fought and died so that we might live in freedom.
We are thankful for the sacrifices that our soldiers, sailors, and aircrew made so that their brothers and sisters and the generations that followed them could live in peace.
We recall those who served far away, and those who served at home, and we thank them for what they have done to hold high the torch and take up the struggle against evil.
We thank you, Lord, for those who serve today in the armed forces, and we humbly pray that you keep them safe and make their labours a force for peace in the world.
May all nations and peoples on earth live together as one family–to care so that no one will be oppressed or afflicted by violence–to love and respect one another despite our differences, so that freedom might be a reality and that your Kingdom may be realized in our world.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

In the Catholic Church, November is the Month of All Souls. This is the time when people remember to pray in a special way for family and friends who have passed away.
If you wish for members of the St. Paul’s community to pray for your deceased loved ones at the daily liturgy at the school in November, please send the names of family and friends to the chaplain, Fr. Con, at cmulvihill@stpauls.mb.ca. Their names will be placed in an urn in our chapel. All your intentions will be anonymous.
If you wish to have a special mass said for someone who has passed, please feel free to contact Fr. Mulvihill, at cmulvihill@stpauls.mb.ca.

Schedule III is in effect. Students should report to their Core Group stations for 8:25 am.
Importance of Remembrance
While November is recognized as a time of Remembrance for many across Canada, Remembrance is a year-long commitment. There are many opportunities available to anyone wishing to show their appreciation for those who served. Most importantly, we should all take a moment now and then to reflect on the freedoms and peace in our lives, to remember the men and women who served and sacrificed for all we have today, and to pray for peace and eternal rest for all who lost their lives protecting the freedoms of Canadians. Lest We Forget.
