Semester 2 Exams Continue

The regular exam schedule continues on Monday, 15 June to Thursday, 18 June.

Friday, 19 June - Exam Review and Deadline for Clearing Incompletes

Dress Code III: Relaxed

9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Students may come to school to review their final exams and speak with their teachers and counsellors. While attendance is not required, students are encouraged to come to school to look over their exam results. Teacher locations will be posted in the school.

The deadline for submitting work to teachers to clear incompletes (INC) is noon on Friday, 19 June. Students have been made aware by their teachers of any incomplete coursework or outstanding hours to fulfill Ignatian Service hour requirements. In addition, parents of students with incomplete coursework were sent an email notifying them their son has incomplete coursework along with this letter with further details.

Tuesday, 23 June: Textbook Returns - Compulsory for All Students

On Tuesday 23 June, students will be expected to return all textbooks they were assigned throughout the 2025–2026 school year.  Each grade level has been assigned a time slot during which students in that grade will be required to return their textbooks to Murray Hall.

  • Grade 9: 9:00 am – 9:45 am
  • Grade 10: 10:00 am – 10:45 am
  • Grade 11: 11:00 am – 11:45 am
  • Grade 12: 1:00 pm – 1:45 pm

One additional time slot will be made available at the end of the day for families that have students in multiple grades.

Multi–Grade: 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Textbooks will not be accepted for return prior to June 23rd. If a student is unable to attend during his assigned time slot, he must arrange for a friend to return books on his behalf.

Please start looking for any textbooks that are at home, in your car, etc. so that you have them all organized in advance of the day. Students and Parents have been emailed a list of books on June 10 to aide in the search.

Please note: If textbooks are not returned (or are returned in an unusable condition), the student will be charged the full replacement cost of the textbook. If textbooks are returned in a significantly poorer condition than when they were assigned, students will be asked to pay a charge commensurate to the amount of damage.

A Note About Exams

As final exams are underway, we encourage families to keep grades in perspective. While exams are an important opportunity for students to demonstrate their learning, they represent only one part of a much larger educational journey. In the long run, a single exam mark, or even a final course grade, does not define a student's future success. Qualities such as perseverance, responsibility, adaptability, and character matter far more. A calm, balanced approach helps students perform at their best and maintain their well-being during this busy time of year.  Please focus on the effort and the learning, not on the grade.

Student Accessibility Services at the U of M
Incoming students with diagnosed disabilities are encouraged to register with Student Accessibility Services (SAS) at UM and meet with an Accessibility Coordinator to discuss academic plans, identify barriers, and set up an individualized accommodation plan. Connecting during the summer helps ensure that supports and accommodations are in place right at the start of the fall semester. Appointments for new students are available in person or virtually. To arrange an intake appointment, documentation from a registered health professional is required, or for a Learning Disability a psychoeducational assessment is required. Confidential consultations are also available. New students can connect with SAS by completing our online intake form.
