In addition to school parking lots, we have been granted a temporary Lifting of Restrictions (LOR) from the City of Winnipeg to allow street parking for Convocation Day. This will allow for parking to be permitted on Stanford Bay and Bower Blvd between Mountbatten Ave and Grant Ave from 11:30am-3:30pm on June 30, 2026.

Please note:

  • Vehicles must not park in areas marked No Parking or No Stopping, or near fire hydrants, stop signs, or driveways.
  • In the event of a street cleaning or seasonal parking ban, those restrictions will override the LOR.

Photography

EdgeImaging will be taking photos of your son receiving his diploma. In addition, Andrew Mahon ’15 will be taking candid shots during the ceremony. All convocation photos will be posted online after the event and complimentary digital downloads will be available.

Convocation Live-Stream

Convocation will be streamed live for family members and friends unable to attend the event. The video feed will be available on the day of the event for live viewing. Click the link below to access the livestream page. The same link can be used to watch the event afterwards.

Farewell to Departing Staff

As we look ahead to a new school year, we also take a moment to thank and bid farewell to two valued members of our staff community.

Ms. Jennifer Walker will be leaving us after five years of teaching at the school.  Her work within our English department has inspired students right from grade 9 to 12.  She introduced our grade 9 drama program and has directed a number of Dramatic productions that has paved the path for plays to come.  Her joy for teaching is obvious and we wish her all the best as she continues her pursuits in education in British Columbia next year.

Mr. Raymond Comeault has been a part of our St. Paul’s community for 34 years!  He has lead our French department, directed countless plays, coordinated and assisted with numerous retreats, was our CLC coordinator, and has lead us spiritually through his direction in Mission and Ignatian Identity. The list can certainly go on with his other wonderful contributions.  His ability to connect with students is admirable and I am sure all of these attributes will serve him well as he continues his journey in education as he joins Gonzaga Middle School next year.

New Faculty/Staff Joining St. Paul’s in September

We are excited to welcome several new team members to the St. Paul’s High School community for the 2026–2027 school year. Each brings a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to our mission of forming Men for Others. Please join us in warmly welcoming them!

Ms. Ariella Gunn – English

Ms. Gunn has experience in all levels of English courses and a strong affinity to working in drama.

Mr. Micah Doerksen – English & Social Studies

Mr. Doerksen is a strong English and Social Studies teacher with a deep interest in Speech and Debate, and rugby.

Ms. Carmela Castellano Sinclair – Director of Mission and Ignatian Identity

Ms. Sinclair brings deep experience in Catholic faith formation, Ignatian spirituality, the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, parish ministry, and spiritual accompaniment.

We look forward to the contributions each of these new community members will make in the year ahead!

Have a wonderful Summer!

A Summer Prayer

Father, Creator of all, thank You for summer!

Thank you for the warmth of the sun

and the increased daylight.

Thank You for the beauty I see all around me

and for the opportunity to be outside and enjoy Your creation.

Thank You for the increased time I have to be with my friends and family,

and for the more casual pace of the summer season.

Draw me closer to You this summer.

Teach me how I can pray

no matter where I am or what I am doing.

Warm my soul with the awareness of Your presence

and light my path with Your Word and Counsel.

As I enjoy Your creation, create in me

a pure heart and a hunger and a thirst for You.

Amen.
