Winter Sports Day - Register Now!

Winter Sports Day is quickly approaching and Student Council has been working hard, getting ready for the day! A reminder that the deadline to register for morning activities is Monday, March 10th. Registration can be completed online via the Permission Click form linked in Monday’s email or below. This link will allow parents/guardians to register their child for their chosen morning activity, grant permission for them to participate in Winter Sports Day, as well as sign a waiver/acknowledgement of risk form on their behalf. Fees collected on Permission Click include the activity fee, bus fee, and processing fee. All payments are made through Permission Click. When completed successfully, Permission Click will issue a receipt to the email address used to complete the form.

Please note, all events will be filled on a first come, first served basis. A spot is not guaranteed until a Permission Click form is completed. This includes activities that may request students to enter as a team (3 on 3 Hockey, 4 on 4 Basketball, or 4 on 4 Volleyball). All members of that team must be registered on Permission Click in order for the team to be made, spots will not be held for team members not registered yet.

As attendance is mandatory, please note that if a student fails to register they may face disciplinary consequences and will be assigned an all-day study hall (9:00 – 3:00), causing them to also miss the all-student Winter Olympics in the afternoon.

Students are reminded to dress for their activity. Students and parents are reminded to complete a waiver form if their activity requires one (Activate, beach volleyball at The Beach, Laser Tag, bouldering at The Hive, and indoor trampoline at Fun Park). Form links can be found in the attached document and students will be messaged a reminder on Teams the week before.

Schedule for the Day

9:00 – Attendance at posted attendance stations (please complete student drop off at the Student Parking lot off Bower Blvd. and avoid the MultiPlex as this will be where buses are parked).

9:15–12:00 – Morning Activity of Choice

12:00–1:15 – Lunch

1:15–2:45/3:00 – St. Paul’s Olympics

If there are any issues with Permission Click or questions about the day, please contact Ms. Keana Rellinger, Student Council Moderator, at krellinger@stpauls.mb.ca.
