All in our school community are invited to participate in Pink Shirt Day on Wednesday, 26 February by wearing a pink top. This anti-bullying campaign began several years ago in Nova Scotia after a group of students rallied around a Grade 9 boy who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt.
Those wearing a pink shirt will have a casual day. If students don't have a pink shirt, but would still like to participate in the casual dress code, they are asked to bring a $2 donation to Kids Help Phone.
Students applying to the University of Winnipeg between February 19th and March 5th will have the $100 application fee waived. https://www.uwinnipeg.ca/2025/
The Counselling Department has completed classroom visits to present next year's course offerings, helping students in Grades 9–11 select courses that align with their aptitudes, interests, and post-secondary prerequisites.
To support parents in guiding their sons through the course selection process, video presentations of this information will be made available. Links to these videos will be included in the Weekly News on Friday, February 28th.
Students are encouraged to meet with their counsellor if they would like further guidance on course selection. Parents are also welcome to contact their son’s counsellor with any questions.
