The Freshman Retreat: 2025

All grade nine students will attend the Freshman Retreat which begins on the evening of Thursday, 11 December. Students should leave school at the end of the school day on Thursday as retreat preparations will take place at that time. Students are expected to be at the school to participate in retreat activities during the following times. Please pick up and drop off students at the Multiplex.

  • Thursday, 11 December: 6:00–10:00 p.m.
  • Friday, 12 December: 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

There are NO CLASSES scheduled on Friday, 12 December due to the retreat. Instead, we are following a special retreat schedule which involves the entire grade 9 class, along with grade 10 & 11 grounds crew members, and grade 12 leaders.

Grade 9 parents have been sent separate email communications with further details about the retreat. Questions about the retreat should be addressed to the retreat director, Marko Klimenko.

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

Convocation Reception Co-Chair Opening

Just wanting to let any interested parents know that the current Convocation Reception Chair is looking for a co-chair. The Convocation Reception will be held on June 30/26. Your shared responsibilities would include purchasing fruit and dainties, prepping fruit platters, dainty platters and getting both hot and cold beverages ready. The co-chairs rely on our great volunteers to help prepare the food the day before and the day of Convocation. So, this is a two-day commitment.

Please note, you will be supported by the current veteran chair as well as the volunteer coordinator. If you are interested in becoming the co-chair for the Convocation Reception, please email Karen Andersen at volunteercoordinator@stpauls.mb.ca.
