Winter Sports Day is nearly here! Student Council is getting ready for the big day and we look forward to the whole school engaging in a fun-fill active day! Attendance is mandatory as this is an all-school event and students are encouraged to double check the posted attendance station lists at school prior to Tuesday. Any discrepancies should be reported to Ms. Rellinger via Teams.
Students are reminded to dress for their activity and anyone participating in the Winter Olympics on behalf of their core group in the afternoon must be in non-marking shoes. Students and parents are reminded complete a waiver form if their activity requires one (Activate, beach volleyball at The Beach, bouldering at The Hive, indoor trampoline at Fun Park, and laser tag at Lasertopia). Students will be reminded of this step over the weekend via group Teams messages.
On Tuesday, March 18th students will begin with attendance at 9:00 for all students. (Attendance stations can be found on the master lists outside the Aulneau room or in the library with Mrs. Ridley and Ms. Janzen.) From there, students will participate in activities outside of the school, returning for the ‘St. Paul’s Olympics’ event in the afternoon. Except for those whose activity station is at the school, all students will depart the school after 9:00 am and will be bussed to the activity they have chosen. All students will return to the school at approximately 12:00 pm for lunch. Lunch will take place between 12:00-1:15 pm. All students will then participate in the ‘St. Paul’s Olympics’ in the MultiPlex until ~2:45-3:00 pm, after which they will be dismissed.
Please note that students are to be dropped off at the Student Parking Lot off Bower Blvd. on the morning of Winter Sports Day. Please avoid dropping off at the MultiPlex as this parking lot will be used for the busses for student activities. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Keana Rellinger by email (krellinger@stpauls.mb.ca) or students may use Teams.Thank you and we look forward to a fun-filled day!
