Report Cards and 2024–2025 School Year Information

Students received report cards after the Closing Mass and Awards Assembly on Friday, 21 June. The following letter was enclosed with report cards and contains information about the 2024–2025 school year, the calendar, required supplies, and dress code. Monday, 24 June: Return of Textbooks, Library Books, and School Materials

There will be one last opportunity for students to return missing textbooks for credit on Monday, June 24th from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm.  At this time, textbooks can be brought to the AULNEAU ROOM to be processed. 

Library books and other school materials may returned at this time as well. 

All outstanding fees must also be paid in the Aulneau Room on June 24th.  Payment can be made by CASH, DEBIT, CREDIT OR CHEQUE (payable to St. Paul's High School).  

For returning students: Textbooks will not be issued for the 2024–2025 school year if fees have not been paid. For NON–returning students: Any outstanding fees may be sent to Collections.

Note:  SPHS will accept textbooks after this date, however, no refunds will be issued after June 24th.

Class of 2024 Convocation Ceremony

  • Date: Tuesday, 25 June
  • Doors Open: 12:00 pm
  • Program Start: 1:00 pm
  • Place: Albrechtsen MultiPlex
  • RSVP NOT needed

Reminders

  • Graduands should report to the Cafeteria between 12:15–12:30 pm to facilitate grad gown assignments and to organize the procession.
  • The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00 pm.
  • Dress Code for Graduands: With the exception of jackets, Dress Code V: Formal Dress Code, is mandatory (dress shirt, tie, dress pants, dress socks & shoes, and tie).
  • Incoming members of the Maroon & White Society will be on site to assist guests.
  • Washrooms are available in the upper level of the MultiPlex and behind the stands on the gym-floor level.
  • An elevator is available.

Parking

Guest parking is available in the MultiPlex Lot off Holland Blvd and in the Student Lot off Bower Blvd. Carpooling is strongly recommended as we are expecting a large number of guests. Click HERE for a map of available parking on school grounds.

The City of Winnipeg has granted a Lifting of Restrictions (LOR). As such, additional parking is available on Stanford Bay, Bower Blvd between Mountbatten Ave and Grant Ave from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. This LOR does not allow for any vehicles to be parked in a Loading, No Parking, No Stopping (including rush hour), or too close to a fire hydrant, stop sign or sidewalk. In addition, Street Cleaning will override any LORs. 

Photography

EdgeImaging will be taking photos of your son receiving his diploma. In addition, Andrew Mahon ’13 will be taking candid shots during the ceremony. All convocation photos will be posted online after the event and complimentary digital downloads will be available. 

Convocation Live-Stream

Convocation will be streamed live for family members and friends unable to attend the event. The video feed will be available on the day of the event for live viewing. Click the link below to access the livestream page. The same link can be used to watch the event afterwards.

Graduation Packages

After the ceremony, students should proceed to the Cafeteria to pick up their graduation packages. The graduation package given to each graduate includes his report card, the Manitoba Provincial Diploma, and two official transcripts.

Reception

Al guests are invited to attend a reception hosted by the Parent Guild in the Cass Gym located in the main school building. 

Graduation Caps, Gowns and Vee-stoles

Students may keep their gowns and vee-stoles for the purpose of taking photographs with family and friends after the ceremony. Families are welcome to take photos on school grounds during school hours. Gowns and veestoles may be returned to the Cafeteria until 3:00 pm on June 25th. Those wanting to keep their gowns and vee-stoles longer must return them to the Front Office of the School on Wednesday, June 26th, between 8:00 am and noon.
