St. Paul's is closed on Monday, 9 October. Regular classes resume on Tuesday, 10 October (School Day D).
We wish all students, parents and families a Happy Thanksgiving and offer the following reflection.
Thanksgiving Is
Thanksgiving is
a time of gratitude to God, our Creator and Provider,
whose guidance and care go before us...
and whose love is with us forever.
Thanksgiving is
a time to reflect on the changes,
to remember that we, too, grow and change
from one season of life to another.
Thanksgiving is
a time of changing seasons, when leaves turn golden
in Autumn's wake and apples are crisp
in the first chill breezes of fall.
Let us remember the true meaning of Thanksgiving.
As we see the beauty of Autumn,
let us acknowledge the many blessings which are ours...
let us think of our families and friends..
and let us give thanks in our hearts.

Giving Back - Grade 12 Bake Sale
Four times a year the Parent Guild offers the staff and students the opportunity to purchase homemade treats or goodies from local bakeries. The sale of these items helps support the SPHS Christmas Hamper Fund. We also ask that each grade level parent or the boys themselves take one turn throughout the school year preparing or purchasing a contribution. This month we are asking for baking from the grade 12 families.
Please kindly drop off this nut free baking in disposable containers on October 16 or 17th at front reception. The bake sale date is October 17th at lunch, downstairs in the cafeteria.
November Help Needed
The Debate Tournament on November 9th needs a coordinator “shadow”. This shadowing system helps with familiarizing and securing someone for the following year’s event. The Parent Guild volunteers for this evening event are responsible for supplying and serving food and drink for the participants, judges, and audience.
If you are interested in “learning the ropes”, please contact Gillian at parentguild@stpauls.mb.ca
