The Crusaders arrived in time for a full day of practice on the Gilbert Plains Golf Club. The course, which was an excellent condition, offered some significant changes in elevation and some challenging tee shots and difficult shot selection options.
On the day of the compeition the players faced 60km winds that made birdie opportunities fairly scarce. The team finished second for the second year in a row, losing to an excellent team from Portage La Prairie. St Paul's scores were: Derek East 76 (co-medalist), Jeff Havixbeck 81, Tyler Ibrahim 91 and Avery Stedman 93, for a team total of 248, second to Portage's 244. The Crusaders took Finalist (2nd place) honours based on the better score of our fourth player.
